Jackson the Horse needs a home

"Jackson" is a handsome solid bay 17-year-old 15.2h Thoroughbred gelding. He was a former racehorse, but we cannot read his tattoo. Jackson has a very calm, laid back personality. He has good ground manners, and is quiet on cross ties. He will test you if you are timid, but responds to correction right away if you are confident. He is polite for the farrier and vet, and is UTD on all vaccines, deworming, and trims. He does have some arthritis, so he is on a daily joint supplement. Jackson is currently being ridden English at the walk and trot (his canter is a bit unbalanced and rusty at the moment). He's great on trails; very quiet and willing. Jackson would be a nice horse for trail riding, or pleasure.
